In case you didn’t know,
Affairs With Elegance also does social events in addition to weddings. After the
I Do Brunch, my team and I had a birthday party to do later Saturday evening. It was for a wonderful lady (and good friend) who was turning 50! Stacey wanted her party to reflect her personality…which I say is sophisticated and classy. She also wanted a monochromatic color scheme of all ivory with accents of gold of course.
Here are a few pictures I snapped prior to the party. They aren’t the best quality but I never claimed to be a great photographer. I will post the professional photos once I receive them.
We provided the menu cards, escort cards and table numbers for Stacey’s party:

Without further ado…The Birthday Girl:

Of course I had to get a picture with her:

I had the best time planning this party with Stacey and a fun time was had by all Saturday night.

Today is my birthday! The day will be full of relaxation and very little work. My plans include lunch with my favorite uncle, plenty of shopping, dinner with my husband and hopefully wonderful gifts. Click here to see how I celebrated last year.
Have a great day everyone…I plan to!

Today was my tea party to celebrate my birthday which was this past Tuesday. It was held at Brighton’s in the InterContinental Harbor Court Hotel. The room is beautiful and the large windows show off the view of the Inner Harbor. This is another great location for a bridal shower tea party.
A fun time was had by all who were able to attend. Each guest will receive a thank you card by Kimberly Shaw which contains a tea bag so they can enjoy a cup of tea at home.

I have been blessed to see another year. Today is my birthday and yes I’m doing a little work…but just a little. I will have a small celebration with my husband this evening but I’m saving the big fun for the weekend. I have planned an afternoon tea party for Saturday. I’ve asked everyone to dress up and to wear their favorite hat. The funny thing is I’ve never worn a big hat so I had to go out and purchase one. That was fun all in itself. Anyone who knows me knows I love to shop
I’m not sure what the plans are for Saturday evening. I’m sure my husband will think of something…he always does.
