Congratulations to Joe & Kerry (Part I)

I had the pleasure of working with the sweetest couple as they planned their elegant and modern Maryland wedding.  Saturday Joe and Kerry exchanged vows during a candlelight ceremony at the Grace United Methodist Church in Aberdeen.

The groom is an avid golfer so the couple wanted to host their wedding reception at a golf course. They chose beautiful Bulle Rock in Havre De Grace, Maryland to celebrate with 125 of their family and friends. The greens of the golf course were the perfect backdrop for their fall color scheme of green, chocolate and champagne.

Instead of table numbers, Joe and Kerry decided to use their engagement photos and incorporated names of various golf courses across the country such as Pebble Beach, Torrey Pines, Oakmont and of course Bulle Rock just to name a few.

Chris of DJ Specialists kept the dance floor packed all night. Guests also enjoyed the photo booth provided by Party Booths. A fun time was had by all!

Below are a few photos that my assistant was able to snap before the reception. I hope to post professional pictures soon so stay tuned.

Congratulations Joe & Kerry! We were so honored to share in your special day and we wish you all the best.

Where To Use Your Wedding Monogram or Logo

(l to r) favor packaging, gobo lighting on dance floor, invitations, wedding cake, rose petal holders, ceremony programs, bottom of wedding shoes (not that anyone will see them), chairs of sweetheart table and menu cards. You can also include it on your aisle runner and unity candle (not shown).

Inspiration Board – Fall Wedding

Who says a fall wedding HAS to include pumpkins, leaves and branches? Not me and the inspiration board below proves it.

My Dot Dot Dot…Post

I saw this on Scarlett Lillian’s blog and thought I’d share my answers. So here goes.

I AM… very blessed and grateful
I WANT… a bigger house
I HAVE… a wonderful and supportive husband
I KEEP… my blackberry with me at all times (I’m a junkie and it really is a crackberry)
I WISH I COULD… have coffee with my grandma one more time
I HATE… phony/fake people
I FEAR… getting sick or having health issues
I HEAR… a song in my head all the time
I DON’T THINK… I’ll ever get tired of planning weddings
I REGRET… very few things
I LOVE… my mother who raised me to be the person I am today
I AM NOT… snobby
I DANCE… as often as possible
I SING… A LOT and have been doing so all my life or so my mother says
I NEVER… want to die
I RARELY… exercise although I should
I CRY WHEN I WATCH… the movie “Imitation of Life”
I AM NOT ALWAYS… right but don’t tell my husband though
I HATE THAT … so many people suffer in this world
I’M CONFUSED ABOUT … how people can hurt children. They are so precious and innocent
I NEED … a good massage
I SHOULD … keep my opinions to myself…sometimes
